Working over the Internet, you can get started very easily. Just make a simple web page as a place to promote stuff. You do not have to sell your own product. Many people make lots of cash promoting products and services provided by others.

You have web hosting for example. Many web hosting companies pay you like $100 just for sending them a new customer. I have personally made many thousands of dollars this way — as an affiliate. Actually, if you are getting started then the way to go is to be an affiliate — it is an online business opportunity which has advantages.

Even so, there are many pitfalls. You must have a good feeling for what to promote; also it is essential to be able to make prospective customers find your site. On the other hand it is very simple to get started.
