Kill Your Day Job — Get Started In Your Own Business Online

13 May 2009 No Comment

These days, everybody seems to be looking for a business opportunity. And why is that? Probably because everyone is tired of working in a job, doing something boring and having to please a boss. Indeed, we all hate to be bossed around. Naturally, making plenty of cash is also nice.

Think of it, you spend your days in some dead-end job. You haven’t got much of a chance to make more than you do now. Which isn’t sufficient for your needs.

Then it is tempting to jump on some business opportunities, dreaming of instant riches.

But beware, there is a jungle out there. Just do a Google search — you’ll find tons of business opportunities. If you take a close look, you will find that many are no better than scams. For instance, the infamous MLM thing. Stay away from everything which looks like you are supposed to make money by recruiting a “downline”.

Rather, a legit business opportunity has to do with marketing a product or a service — something people actually want to buy. And I particularly recommend the online variety. Working over the Internet, you can get started very easily. Just make a simple web page as a place to promote stuff. You do not have to sell your own product. Many people make lots of cash promoting products and services provided by others.

You have web hosting for example. Many web hosting companies pay you like $100 just for sending them a new customer. I have personally made many thousands of dollars this way — as an affiliate. Actually, if you are getting started then the way to go is to be an affiliate — it is an online business opportunity which has advantages.

Even so, there are many pitfalls. You must have a good feeling for what to promote; also it is essential to be able to make prospective customers find your site. On the other hand it is very simple to get started.
